HMD Global is said to be developing a 5G Nokia 8.2. The phone will be the successor to Nokia 8.1 and will be supported by the mid-range Snapdragon chipset. In addition, the smartphone is expected to be the first Nokia device to offer a pop-up selfie camera.

Nokia 8.2 leaked specifications and features

In Nokia 8.2, it is said that a pop-up selfie camera has been installed on the shell of the 32MP sensor, which is recommended to report to NokiaPowerUser. If this is true, Nokia will also join the trend of pop-up selfie cameras.

The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 735 chipset based on the 7-nanometer architecture. It will use the next-generation AI engine, which is said to improve gaming and overall performance. It will also be supported by 5G connections.

The report presents three different memory and storage configurations-4GB memory 64GB storage, 6GB memory 128GB storage, and 8GB memory 256GB storage options. It may come with the Android Q operating system and become part of the Android One program.

The rear of the Nokia 8.2 has a four-camera setting. Although the main sensor is considered to be a 64MP sensor, other sensors are not disclosed. However, judging from recent trends, we can expect telephoto sensors, ultra-wide-angle lenses and depth sensors.
