IDC Review Network (idcps.com) reported on June 01: recently, the Industry and Informatization 12321 Network Bad and garbage Information reporting Center released the monthly report on the acceptance of reports from March to April 2015. According to the report, from March to April, 12321 reporting centers received a total of 383552 reports of bad and spam information. Among them, 38528 cases were reported by spam and 61558 by bad websites on the Internet. Next, take a look at the specific data analysis:

1. Spam reports

A total of 38528 spam reports were received from March to April, a significant increase compared with February. According to the analysis of the content of Chinese e-mail, we can see that the number of e-mails reporting convention and exhibition accounts for 35.4% of the total Chinese spam reports, the largest proportion. The second is the illegal sale of tickets and certificates, accounting for 26.8%. This is followed by website promotion, accounting for 10.0%. The rest account for less than 10%. In addition, there are 15278 IP addresses of outgoing spam shared by international anti-spam organizations.

2. Reports of undesirable websites

A total of 61558 bad websites were reported from March to April. In all kinds of website reports, obscene websites account for half of the country, as high as 57.1%. Other illegal websites and phishing sites ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively, accounting for 27.8% and 3.0%, respectively. While vulgar websites accounted for only 0.7%, ranking fourth.

3. Reports of junk SMS messages

From March to April, a total of 39551 text messages were received, of which 23074 were reported as spam, accounting for 58.3%. The top five types of reporting information are as follows: retail sales accounted for 37.2%, telecommunications business publicity accounted for 29.2%, finance and insurance sales accounted for 11.5%, education and training accounted for 10.3%, and real estate sales accounted for 9.8%.

4. Reports of suspected illegal text messages

Of the 39551 text messages received from March to April, 16477 were suspected of violating the law, accounting for 41.7 per cent. Among them, suspected fraud ranked first with a share of 37.5%. The illegal sale of bills, documents and illegal financial activities ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively, with a very similar proportion of 21.2% and 20.8%, respectively. In addition, accounting for more than 10%, there was the fourth place for illegal business activities, which was 12.6%.

5. Report on junk MMS

From March to April, 442 spam MMS reports were received. Among them, the information reported for suspected fraud accounted for the largest proportion, accounting for 55.2%. This was followed by illegal business activities, accounting for 24.4%. By contrast, the proportion of the third place in the education and training category is significantly smaller, at 2.9%.

6. Reports of harassment calls

A total of 65574 harassing phone calls were reported from March to April. According to the type of harassing phone calls, the situation is as shown in the following figure: suspected fraud accounts for 49.5%, retail sales accounts for 32.8%, reactionary political rumors account for 7.3%, suspected * * violence accounts for 4.1%, illegal financial activities account for 3.2%, and so on.

7. Report on mobile application security issues (APP)

From March to April, a total of 169243 reports were received from mobile applications, of which about 56948 were involved. From the hazard risk analysis: a total of 578 applications have security risks in the reported data, of which 279 are of high risk. From the analysis of malicious behavior: 2941 applications have malicious behavior, of which malicious deduction accounts for 30.8%, accounting for the largest proportion; the proportion of privacy theft and hooliganism followed by 29.0% and 14.8%, respectively.
