Today, I found that many container services on the server will suddenly die. If you look carefully, root is full, but fortunately, the logical volume used when the system was installed, so it was expanded to 500G.

Some operations are involved:

1.pvs View physical Volume

2.vgs View Volume Group

3.lvs View logical Volume

4.lvextend-L + Size LV command extends logical volumes

5.xfs_growfs LV-- the xfs file system takes effect using this command

6.resize2fs LV-- the ext4 file system takes effect using this command

Note: an effective command must be used, and it is useless to restart.

Logic: lv depends on vg,vg dependency and pv. Therefore, when there is not enough lv space, if the vg size is not enough, then you need to add pv,pv to directly associate with the file system.
