Set arp static binding

The ip address of the awakened computer is fixed, and the physical address is arp bound to the ip on the router.

Why do you do arp binding, because the arp table will be cleared after the computer shuts down for a little time, when the boot message comes to the arp table to find the 192.168.1.111 entry, the router will discard the message. If it is fixed, the arp table will always have an entry of 192.168.1.111. When the boot message arrives, it will be directly matched to this entry and broadcast to the corresponding MAC (physical network card) address.

3. Set up Wake-up Software Test

There are many wake-up apps. I use Wechat here and have a Mini Program as the client.

Download a simple package capture software "sokit-1.3" to the awakened machine.

Then click "Wake up" on Mini Program

You can see that the software crawled three udp messages (I clicked three times), indicating that the boot signal has reached the awakened computer.

4. Set up the computer and test the boot

Above are the settings of the system, and below are the settings of bios.

Open bios to find advanced power management and wake up the pci device.
