If a personal macro workbook PERSONAL.xls file is generated when recording a macro (the file is saved in the directory C:\ Documents and Settings\ user name\ Application Data\ Microsoft\ Excel\ XLSTART), it will cause the opening and closing of Excel to slow down, especially on Excel2007, so that the contents of the file cannot be displayed at once when Excel2007 opens the file (it will be delayed for several seconds), and the x in the upper right corner of the Excel2007 point cannot be closed at once. It takes a second time to actually turn off Excel2007.
