Method 2: make a registry file of [administrator permissions .reg] and add it to the registry. You can set the Windows10 system to use administrator permissions to require a PIN password.

Copy the following into notepad:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Policies\ System]

"ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin" = dword:00000003

Click [File] in the upper left corner of notepad, and click [Save as] in the drop-down menu.

In the Save as window that opens, click Desktop, enter: administrator permissions .reg in the file name (N) column, and then click: save

Locate and left-click the [administrator permissions .reg] registry file icon on the system desktop, click: yes (Y) in the pop-up registry editor dialog box, and then click: OK

Double-click any program on the system desktop, it will pop up the user account control window, need to enter the PIN password before the program can run, if you do not know the password, the program can not run at all, enhancing the security of the computer.

Method 3: directly enter the registry editor, modify the ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin DWORD (32-bit), you can set the Windows10 system to use the administrator authority to require the PIN password.

Double-click the: regedit icon in the start screen to enter the registry editor

Copy the\ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Policies\ System registry path to the address bar

When the\ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Policies\ System path is copied to the address bar, press the enter key (Enter) on the keyboard to navigate to System

We find ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin in the right window corresponding to System, left-click double-click ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin, in the pop-up edit DWORD (32-bit) value dialog box, change the ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin numerical data from "5" to "3", and then click: OK

Going back to the Registry Editor window, you can see:

ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin REG_DWORD 0x00000003 (3)

Click "File" in the upper left corner of the window, click "exit" in the drop-down menu to exit the Registry Editor.

If we left-click any program on the system desktop, the user account control window will also pop up. You need to enter the PIN password before the program can run.

Restore the original state (that is, you do not need to enter the PIN password) and copy the following to notepad:

"ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin" = dword:00000005
