Amazon doesn't seem to have taken over our home yet, as the e-commerce giants have unveiled their own TV lines called the Fire TV Omni series and the Fire TV 4 series. With these new products, Amazon is challenging established TV brands such as Samsung, Sony, LG, TCL and Hisense. Don't forget Xiaomi, realme, Yijia and other brands.

The fire omni series will be launched on October 27th. When it launches, buyers will be able to choose from 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch sizes, all with 4K resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, HDR10, HLG and Dolby Digital. Better 65-inch and 75-inch models also have Dolby vision.

The design of the TV is a little different, but it is no different from what we see from other brands. Amazon uses the same design for both 65-inch and 75-inch models, with a frame size of 1.1 mm, while other smaller models are not very upscale in appearance.

The Omni series has hands-free Alexa support, so you can watch your favorite content without using a remote control. With a built-in microphone, you can simply call Alexa to play your favorite show or movie, or control a smart device. If you're worried about privacy, Amazon has added a switch to disconnect the microphone electronically. The Omni series also supports two-way video calls over Alexa Communications, but you must purchase a compatible webcam separately.

All Fire TV Omni series TVs have Bluetooth 5.0,3 HDMI 2.0 ports, 1 HDMI eARC 2.1port, 1 USB port, 1 Ethernet port, cable / antenna port, fiber port, IR transmitter and 1 audio Jack. They also have two 8W speakers. Amazon will install Alexa voice remote controls and infrared transmitters on televisions.

43 inches = $409.99.

50 inches = $509.99.

55 inches = $559.99.

65 inches = $829.99.

75 inches = $1099.99.

The fire4 series is Amazon's affordable TV series, available in 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch sizes. They are all equipped with 4K LED screens and support for HDR 10 and HLG. They also have the same port selection and dual 8W speakers as the Fire TV Omni series. What's the difference?

There is no hands-free Alexa, which means you can only use the Alexa voice remote control or the Fire TV app. Two-way video calls using Alexa Communications are also not supported.

The fire 4 series will also be available on October 27th. The 43-inch model sells for $369.99, the 50-inch model for $469.99 and the 55-inch model for $519.99. All the TVs can be booked now.

Amazon has not announced when or whether the televisions will be available elsewhere.
