Shulou(Shulou.com)06/01 Report--

Earlier, the blogger introduced the detailed installation process of the virtual software GNS3, as well as the partial optimization of CPU occupancy. Now that the preparatory work has been done, let's actually play and use GNS3 to realize the interconnection between two routing devices and two PC devices. First, let's double-click this cute chameleon.

After entering the interface of GNS3, we select two routing devices and PC devices, drag and drop them into the topology operation area

In order to realize the function of routing interconnection, both R1 and R2 devices need to be set up.

R1 and R2 devices need to set up hard disk space.

The next step is to start the connection, and the point PC device will prompt you to select a network card.

The interface that connects to the R1 device I use is f0Uniplet0

The only thing available on the R1 interface is f0gam1.

Connect to R2 device interface f0Univer1

The only thing available for the R2 interface is f0lap0

Finally, connect the available network card of PC device.

The interface names and PC device names of all routing devices are shown here

In order to set up and find the IP of the device, mark all the devices.

Now open the virtual machine VMware Workstation, click Edit, and select the virtual network editor to set the network card.

Click to change settings

Note here that the "host-only mode" selected in the test environment must turn off the DHCP service and open it when using NAT mode.

Open the win10 system and set the network card at the lower right, as shown in the following figure

Click the network adapter and select the same network card as the PC device in GNS3

Win10 system sets the gateway corresponding to the PC device of GNS3

Similarly, the Win7 system is also set to the IP address and gateway corresponding to the devices in the GNS3.

Turn off the firewalls of both systems

Return to GNS3 and start running all devices

Double-click the R1 device, open the CRT remote connection tool, and first set the R1 f0ap0 interface

Set the f0ap1 gateway and enable the interface

Check whether the interface is enabled

The last step is to set the R1 static address and view

Next, set up the R2 route in one go.

Now that both routers are fully set up, we open the previously installed packet grabbing software WireShark to grab the packet.

Open the command prompt tool in the win10 system in the virtual machine VMware Workstation and type ping 192.168.50.6 to test whether the two PC devices can be interconnected.

Finally, let's take a look at Wireshark's bag grabbing.

When you ping at the command prompt, the test is complete. At this time, the interconnection between two routing devices and two PC devices is successfully realized.
