Samsung has released a new app for Windows 10, although this time it is only for its own devices, such as the Galaxy Book.

The feature, called Quick sharing, is designed to make it easier to share content between two Samsung devices, but it is important to note that only certain models are currently supported.

For example, Samsung explained that in addition to using the Galaxy Book of Windows 10, customers can also use Quick Share on Galaxy phones and Galaxy Tab tablets. Sharing is done wirelessly and requires Windows version 10 20H2 or later.

Samsung explained that "Quick sharing" is a device-to-device file sharing feature that allows you to use Samsung Galaxy devices (Galaxy Phone, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Book) to transfer content stored on Galaxy devices to nearby users quickly and easily through wireless communication technology.

The company explained that other models may be supported in the future, but currently only Galaxy Book computers can be shared through the new app. This includes all versions of Galaxy Book, including Galaxy Book Go, Galaxy Book Pro, and Galaxy Book Pro 360.

"the models to be supported and their schedules may change according to company policy. For these features to work smoothly, update the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers to the latest version via Windows update or Samsung Update." Samsung explained.

The application works as simply as possible. Just select the content you want to share, turn on Quick sharing, and you should see supported devices (paired, of course) in the pop-up window on the screen. Just click on the device you want to share. You can also configure some settings, such as sharing files only with contacts or everyone.
