Exchange Server 2013 can be deployed on the platforms of Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2008 R2. If deployed on the Windows Server 2008 R2 platform, the operating system version is required to be the Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 version. The topology diagram is as follows:

There are two servers in this architecture with the Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 operating system installed: one is a DC and CA server with IP address 192.168.0.2, and the other is an Exchange Server 2013 server with IP address 192.168.0.3, which has been joined to the current domain and the roles of CAS and Mailbox are about to be installed on the server.

1. Pre-deployment environment preparation for Exchange

1) system component preparation (execute the following command in Windows Server 2012 PowerShell)

U Open Windows PowerShell

U run the following command to load the server manager module

Import-Module ServerManager

U run the command to complete the installation of the components required for Exchange Server 2013

Add-WindowsFeature Desktop-Experience, NET-Framework, NET-HTTP-Activation, RPC-over-HTTP-proxy, RSAT-Clustering, RSAT-Web-Server, WAS-Process-Model, Web-Asp-Net, Web-Basic-Auth, Web-Client-Auth, Web-Digest-Auth, Web-Dir-Browsing, Web-Dyn-Compression, Web-Http-Errors, Web-Http-Logging, Web-Http-Redirect, Web-Http-Tracing, Web-ISAPI-Ext, Web-ISAPI-Filter, Web-Lgcy-Mgmt-Console, Web-Metabase, Web-Mgmt-Console Web-Mgmt-Service, Web-Net-Ext, Web-Request-Monitor, Web-Server, Web-Stat-Compression, Web-Static-Content, Web-Windows-Auth, Web-WMI,RSAT-ADDS-Restart

2) Software preparation

After installing the operating system roles and features, install the software shown below in order:

3) prepare the active Directory (this step may not be done, if it is not completed during the preparation phase, it will be completed automatically during Exchange Server 2013 installation)

Due to the high integration of Exchange and domain, the normal operation of Exchange Server requires extended architecture and the allocation of some permissions. Here, the preparation of forest and domain is needed, and Exchange Server 2013 shutdown needs to be inserted.

U Lin is ready:

Verify that the schema extension is successful: in the ADSIEDIT management tool, as shown below:

In the ADSIEDIT.msc-à architecture à find "CN=ms-Exch-Schema-Verision-Pt" à properties page

If the rangeUpper value records the version number of the current schema, if it is 15137, the schema has updated OK.

U domain preparation:

Verify that the preparation domain is successful: in the ADSIEDIT.msc management tool, as shown below:

In the ADSIEDIT.msc-à configuration à find "CN=Services" à find "CN=Microsoft Exchange" à find "CN=iLyncORG" à properties page, if the objectVersion attribute, if the value is 15449, the domain is ready for Ok!

2. Exchange deployment-install using the graphical wizard

1) insert Exchange Server 2013 CD and run AutoRun automatically, as shown below:

2) Select "Don't Check for Updates right now" and "next"

3) check the current environment, and the following page appears later:

4) in the interface that appears, select "Next"

5) Select "I accept the terms in license agreement" and click "next"

6) Select "Don't use recommended settings" and click "next"

7) Select the roles "Mailbox role" and "Client Access role" and select "next"

8) Click "next" and the following interface appears

9) Select "NO" and click "next"

10) as shown above, after passing the check of all the conditions required by the system, click "Install", and the system will begin to install.

11) after a period of waiting, the system shows that the installation is complete, as shown in the following figure

3. Exchange Server 2013 deployment-deploy using commands

Insert the Exchange Server 2013 CD and enter the following command on the CMD command line:

After waiting for a period of time, the installation is complete.

4. Log in to the management center

In this environment, the server name of Exchange Server 2013 is 12Server1. Enter https://12server1.iLync.cn/ECP on the Exchange server to enter the Exchange Server 2013 management interface, as shown below:

After entering the user name and password, the Exchange Server 2013 administrative interface is displayed:
