one。 Beijing site Exchange deployment

First deploy the first Exchange 2016 server on the Beijing site, and change the IP information and computer name, as follows

1. two。 Prepare AD and domain

The first step is to extend the Active Directory schema, open CMD as an administrator, change to the Exchange installation directory, and run the following command

Setup.exe / PrepareSchema / IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms

Before extending the schema, you need to be aware of the following:

The account under which you log in needs to be a member of the security group of schema administrators and enterprise administrators. The computer on which you run commands to extend the schema needs to be in the same Active Directory domain and site as the schema host. If you use the DomainController parameter, be sure to use the name of the domain controller that is the host of the schema. The only way to extend the schema for Exchange is to use the steps in this topic or to use Exchange 2016 setup. Other methods of extending the schema are not supported.

The second step is to prepare Active Directory, open CMD as an administrator, change to the Exchange installation directory, and run the following command Setup.exe / PrepareAD / OrganizationName: "" / IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms

Before preparing Active Directory for Exchange, you need to be aware of the following:

The account under which you are logged in needs to be a member of the Enterprise administrators security group. If you skip step 1 by using the PrepareAD command to extend the schema, the account you use also needs to be a member of the schema administrators security group. The computer on which you run the command needs to be in the same Active Directory domain and site as the schema host. It also needs to contact all domains in the forest on TCP port 389. Wait for Active Directory to copy all the changes made in step 1 to all domain controllers before performing this step.

When you run the following command to prepare Active Directory for Exchange, you need to specify the Exchange organization. This name is used internally by Exchange and is usually not seen by users. The name of the company where Exchange is installed is often used as the name of the organization. The name used does not affect the functionality of Exchange, nor does it determine the available e-mail address. You can name it whatever you want, as long as you remember the following: you can use any uppercase or lowercase letter from A to Z. You can use the number 0-9. The name can contain spaces, as long as it does not appear at the beginning or end of the name. You can use hyphens or dashes in names. The name can be up to 64 characters, but cannot be empty. The name cannot be changed after it is set. If the organization name you want to use contains spaces, put the name in quotation marks (").

The third step is to prepare the Active Directory domain, open CMD as an administrator, change to the Exchange installation directory, and run the command Setup.exe / PrepareAllDomains / IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms

To prepare all Active Directory domains, you can use the PrepareAllDomains parameter when running the installer. Setup will prepare each Exchange domain in the Active Directory forest for you.

Before preparing all domains in the Active Directory forest, keep the following in mind:

The account you use needs to be a member of the Enterprise administrators security group. Wait until Active Directory replicates the changes made in step 2 to all domain controllers. Otherwise, an error may occur when you try to prepare the domain.

3. Install Exchange 2016

Here I install the graphical interface, select "do not check for updates now", the next step

Accept the license agreement, next step

Use the recommended settings, next

Check "mailbox role", "automatically install windows server roles and features required for Exchange Server installation", and next

Select the location of the Exchange installation directory, and next

Here I choose to set malware protection to No. Next step

Start the prerequisite analysis, and after all pass, click "install"

After waiting for a period of time, the installation is complete, and the server can be restarted.

4. Installation of the second Exchange server in Beijing site

The installation prerequisites for the second Exchange server are the same as before, but there is no need to prepare the AD and domain (including the subsequent Exchange server installation). The installation steps are the same, refer to the first server deployment.

5. Installation of the first and second Exchange servers in Shanghai site

As installed above, refer to the first server deployment.

6. DAG configuration and replica addition

First add the Exchange Trusted Subsystem group to the members of the domain control administrators group

Navigate to Server-Database availability Group, click +

Enter the database availability group name "DAG01", witness server "BJAD01.rrclouds.cn", DAG IP address "10.1.1.3 and 172.16.1.4", and save

Create DAG, then click "manage DAG membership" to add members

Add BJEX01, BJEX02, SHEX01, SHEX02 servers to DAG

The configuration database availability group is in DAC mode

Set-DatabaseAvailabilityGroup-DatacenterActivationMode dagonly-Identity "DAG01"

Add a copy of the database, "Server"-"Database"-"add a copy of the database"

Specify the mailbox server for the copy, save

Add completed

Configure the activation policy for mailbox database replication by running the following command to configure the database on BJEX01\ BJEX02 to prevent off-site activation

Set-MailboxServer-Identity MBX3-DatabaseCopyAutoActivationPolicy IntrasiteOnly
