There may be several situations when the network connection is not shared by the CVM: for example, there is no network, which refers to the problem with the operator; there is a problem with the network card and its driver, resulting in the network unable to connect, and so on.

The Ping instruction is the most frequently used command instruction to check for network connection failures. Ping instructions can be used to detect programs. When ping execution can run successfully, we can basically determine that there are no problems in network cards, cables and routers, and are usually used to troubleshoot problems and narrow the scope of the problems.

Blocks that are particularly responsive to Ping instructions have a response time of about a few milliseconds. It can help us to solve problems quickly and save time. At the same time, it also shows the value of TTL, which gives you an approximate estimate of how many routers exist in the middle.

Ping instruction writing format, the following three formats can test the connectivity of the network, open terminal, enter the content, and enter.

1) ping hostname

2) ping domain name

3) ping IP address

The failure of the network can be easily found through the ping instructions of the following steps.

1 、 ping 127.0.0.1

2. Ping native IP address. If no test packet is returned, there is a problem with the local configuration and installation.

3. If the IP in the ping LAN does not receive a reply packet, it means that there is a mistake in the configuration of the network card or a problem with the cable.

4. Ping gateway IP, if the test packet is received successfully, it means that the router can work normally. If the test packet cannot be received, there is a problem with the router.

5. Ping remote IP, if the test packet is successfully received, it indicates that the user has successfully connected to the Internet and used the default gateway. If the test package cannot be received, the default gateway is not used.

6. The ping local host successfully receives the test response packet, which indicates that the host file is fine, otherwise, there is a problem.
