Network administrators, if you find that traffic from apple.com takes up a lot of traffic and there is not enough bandwidth, you may want to consider blocking app store. As shown in the following figure: the traffic usage of apple is already in Top 3.

Banning app store is actually very simple, as long as you set the iTunes protocol to "disable" in the "Application filtering" of WFilter (WSG Gateway).

If you open the app store App Store again, you will see a prompt like this, which certainly won't take up bandwidth.
