Hadoop as an important "cornerstone" of building big data processing platform, there are many articles about its analysis and explanation. Hadoop itself is a distributed system, so each additional node is required to install during installation. And because it is open source software, the installation process is relatively complex. This is also the main reason why many people can't succeed at once when building a hadoop runtime environment.

Each build of hadoop has to do a lot of configuration work, and if you do it manually, the workload is still huge. It is this point that I think many people who develop hadoop software for domestic distributions are not as good as the fast DKhadoop distributions. I remember that I also mentioned this issue when I wrote about the process of building the DKHadoop runtime environment. DKH can be said to be very easy to use, and it is much faster for both veteran and newcomers than some other distributions.

In response to the situation where each build of hadoop is configured, DKH provides automated installation applications to deploy Hadoop. This greatly reduces the installation time of Hadoop and simplifies the process of installing Hadoop. If you want to expand the node after installation, don't worry. Because DKH provides the function of node management.

A node is a server in a cluster. The nodes in the DKH cluster play different roles of different services and work together. We can add nodes in the DKH management interface. Then select "add role" in the corresponding service, and the newly added node has the function of the service.

1. Enter the management interface (in the "host" menu)

Here you can view the basic information of nodes, and you can add and delete nodes.

2. Add nodes: click "add hosts to the cluster" to enter the "add nodes" interface

Enter the IP address of the corresponding node.

3. Specify the service for the node: in each service interface, select "add role" as shown in the following figure

Select the node you want to add and click continue to complete the addition.
