A 3TB EBS volume was generated and mounted on EC2, but only 2TB was used when formatting, and the other 1TB could be seen under Disk Management, but could not be formatted for use.

After query found that the initialization partition time did not choose the right, I have been accustomed to using MBR, do not know GPT

MBR only supports up to 2TB capacity, more than 2TB must be selected GPT all the space to be recognized.
