Vim is an excellent text editor on the Linux platform, and the Gvim editor is the version of vim on the Windows platform. When I knew that the Gvim editor started, I installed the Gvim editor in Windows.

However, when you use the vim editor to open a Chinese file, the Chinese shows garbled, as shown in the following figure.

Modify the vim installation directory "C:\ Program Files (x86)\ Vim\ _ vimrc", add "set encoding=utf-8", and save exit.

Reopen the file, open the Chinese file is normal, the menu is garbled.

Modify the "C:\ Program Files (x86)\ Vim\ vim80\ menu.vim" file, add "set encoding=utf-8", and save exit.

Reopen the Chinese file, the Chinese file is normal, and the Chinese menu is normal.
