Badboy provides Incrementing Variables tools to change the values of parameters in a variety of ways to facilitate changes in input parameters with multiple requirements when the script is running.

Mode of operation

Description

Default value

A combination of values list and random integer methods. If a variable has a value list, then it will use the value list, otherwise it will use the random integer method

Random integer

An integer is randomly generated based on the thread id and the current time variable, replacing any numeric characters at the end of the other original parameter values. For example, "treefrog1" may become "treefrog65267"

Values list

Use the next value in the values list. This value list can come from a configured Variable Setter, an ODBC data source, or can be set manually by the user.

Positive integer

Automatically adds 1 at the end of the current value. For example, if the current value is "treefrog1", then incrementing it will make it "treefrog2".

A way to increase the value of variables by random integers for all variables

The steps are as follows:

1. Open the script for lesson 7

two。 Drag the Increment tool to the first place of the script to make sure it runs first

3. After dragging in, configure it in the pop-up properties panel

4. Select growth for all variables and take random integers in a 2-digit way

5. Click Ok

6. Run the Script step to observe the changes in Variable Tab
