This section focuses on concurrent testing using Jmeter and the introduction of image reports.

1. In Jmeter, open the script Lashou_Search.jmx for query on Lashou net exported by Badboy in the previous lesson.

5. Set load information in the thread group, that is, thread attributes, select Start next thread loop, number of threads: 10, Ramp-up period (inseconds): 0, number of cycles: 1

Note 1.: to add relevant load settings to the test plan, Jmeter needs to simulate ten requesters, each of which makes concurrent requests and requests twice in a row during the test.

The number of threads represents the number of users who sent requests, and Ramp-up period (inseconds) represents the total time interval, in seconds, that each request occurs. If the number of my requests is 5 and this parameter is 10, then the interval between each request is 10 + 5, or 2 seconds. If set to 0, it represents a concurrent request. Loop Count represents the number of repetitions of the request. If you select the following forever (the default), the request will continue, and if you do not select forever and enter a number in the input box, the request will repeat the specified number of times.

Description 2: scheduler configuration

Startup time: when the test plan starts, the startup delay will overwrite it.

End time: when the test plan ends and the duration will overwrite it.

Duration: how long the test plan lasts, it overrides the end time.

Start-up delay: how long the test plan delays starting will overwrite the start-up time.

6. Click Aggregate Graph and click run to observe the running result.

Running a 10-person query concurrency test again, we can observe that all running report trends are recorded under the Result interface, we can specify a file path and output file name, save the report, code optimization or performance improvement, we call this report again to compare the improvement results.
