"Windows 7 and Windows 10 are the most popular operating systems, accounting for nearly 80 per cent of our users," the Firefox hardware report said. "although Windows 7 is declining and Windows 10 is rising, older versions still occupy the first place."

According to a report from ­StatCounter, Windows 10 replaced Windows 7emergent Windows 10 with a market share of 51.96% in February and is growing rapidly. On the other hand, NetMarketShare data show that Windows 10 is just about to overtake Windows 7.
