1. Download and install

Download the installation package

Tar xvf mongodbxxxxx.tar # extract the installation package

Mkdir / usr/local/mongodb # create a mongodb folder

Cd mongodb-linux-x86_64-2.6.7 # enter the installation package directory

Cp-rf * / usr/local/mongodb # copy the contents of the installation package to / usr/local/mongodb

2. Create a folder data and log file logs to store mongodb data. The command is as follows:

Cd / usr/local/mongodb

Mkdir data

Touch logs

Create a profile

Vim / etc/mongodb.conf

Port=27017# port number

Dbpath=/usr/local/mongodb/data # database path

Logpath=/usr/local/mongodb/logs # Log output file path

Pidfilepath=/usr/local/mongodb/mongo.pid

Fork=true# sets background running

Logappend=true# log output mode

Shardsvr=true

# auth=true# enables authentication

3. Import environment variables

Export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/mongodb/bin/

4. Start

Mongod-config / etc/mongodb.conf

5. Stop it

Mongod-shutdown-config / etc/mongodb.conf
