The PC LinuxOS project has released new installation media. The latest snapshot version of the scrolling release is 2019.09 and is suitable for versions that use KDE Plasma,MATE and Xfce desktop environments.

Both the full version of the KDE version and the minimalist version of Darkstar include kernel 5.2.15 plus a fully updated KDE Plasma desktop. Plasma 5.16.5 Desktop, Plasma Applications 19.08.1 and Plasma Frameworks 5.62. The MATE desktop has been updated with kernel 5.2.15, and applications and libraries have been updated from the previous version to the latest stable version. The Xfce desktop has been adjusted to use the Whisker menu by default. Added a login sound and updated the application as well as some minor bug fixes. In addition, all ISO now includes the NVIDIA 430.50 driver, and if your graphics card supports it, it will replace the new driver. The hardware detection script has been updated to provide better support for video cards that can use the NVIDIA 430.50 driver, and PulseAudio has been updated to a stable 13.0 release.
