Li Jiazhi said that before deciding whether to adopt open source architecture, there may be the following problems.

First, whether to adopt Spring Boot. The proprietary technology framework is well established and popular in the company, but when Spring Boot began to become popular, proprietary technology was crushed, although very few people knew Spring Boot.

Second, whether the platform needs to support visual development. In the early days, the company was very interested in visual development functions, but after investigating a lot of commercial software, it felt that the improvement of development efficiency was limited. If the business logic is too complex, visualization cannot be done at all. Finally, I decided not to do visual development, but to do code generation.

Third, which front-end framework to use. React, Vue and Angular have all been used on a small scale. After trying to use React for 3 months, it finally failed, and the existing React component library could not support the financial background UI system requirements. This shows that the development model of traditional enterprise application companies determines the shortage of front-end personnel. Because the front-end staff are very familiar with the Bootstrap+JQuery pattern, they finally return to the traditional development mode and use Bootstrap+JQuery.

In addition, there are process designers, development platform design, technology preferences and other issues, all need to make different choices according to their own actual situation.
