Recently found a strange problem with the company's HP printer, busy for most of the day, write down the process as a souvenir.

Printer model: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127-M128 PCLmS; scanning and printing integrated network printer.

Network environment and configuration: DHCP is obtained automatically, and IP binding is done on the network device (192.168.0.183). In fact, it is best to set static.

Fault description: there is no problem with printing, but it cannot be scanned, indicating a network connection problem.

Strange point: the address found when adding the printer is 192.168.0.183, but the IP on the printer is 192.168.0.160. And the client address setting for normal printing is 183. After repeated reboots, the printer IP still shows an address of 160th. Both addresses are displayed on the network device, but only 160 are connected. The person who did it was confused and manually set the IP address to 183. not only the scanning problem was not solved, but all the clients could not print. It's weird beyond my understanding!

Solution: after multiple rebooting and restoring the default settings are invalid, finally make a big move, unplug the power supply for a few minutes and then restart. Finally get the address of 183 as desired, print and scan functions are back to normal.

Problem analysis: contact a kind of Internet failure that often occurs on the PC: can ping the domain name, but can not open the web page, and restore after performing netsh winsock reset. Probably after a power outage, it is equivalent to resetting the printer's network cache, which can only be restored after reboot. It seems that printers sometimes want to be quiet!
