Shulou(Shulou.com)06/01 Report--

This article will explain in detail the example analysis of LilyPad in Arduino wearable development. The editor thinks it is very practical, so I share it with you as a reference. I hope you can get something after reading this article.

Arduino output module

LilyPad officially provides four output modules, namely, monochrome LED module (figure 1.5), tricolor LED module (figure 1.6), buzzer module (figure 1.7) and vibration motor module (figure 1.8).

Figure 1.5 monochrome LED module figure 1.6 tricolor LED module figure 1.7 buzzer module figure 1.8 vibration motor module

The function of the output module is to output some information. This information can be transmitted in the form of sound, light and vibration, thus adapting to a variety of applications. All of these modules will be introduced in our subsequent projects, so I won't go into detail here.

Arduino input module

LilyPad officially provides five input modules, namely switch module (figure 1.9), button module (figure 1.10), photosensitive resistor module (figure 1.11), thermometer module (figure 1.12) and three-axis gyroscope module (figure 1.13).

The function of these input modules is to convert some physical quantities in the surrounding environment (such as temperature, light intensity, displacement) into devices that control identifiable electrical signals. All of these modules will also be covered in the following content. Therefore, interested readers suggest buying them all.

Arduino power supply module

LilyPad provides four power modules, namely, a simple battery socket (figure 1.14), a button battery holder (figure 1.15), an AAA battery boost module (figure 1.16), and a lithium battery boost module (figure 1.17).

The battery module is responsible for supplying power to the LilyPad and all peripherals, so it is most recommended to buy an AAA battery boost module because the AAA battery is the easiest to buy. The second is the lithium battery boost module, because the lithium battery is rechargeable. Of course, the two modules are completely interchangeable in use. As for simple battery modules and button battery holders, I do not recommend buying, one of the reasons is that they do not have the ability to boost, so the operation of the project may be unstable.

Arduino programmer module

The programmer module is used to program LilyPad without integrated USB functionality, and its shape is shown in figure 1.18.

If you don't buy LilyPad Arduino USB, you have to buy it, otherwise you can't program for LilyPad.

ArduinoLilyPad suit

To facilitate learning, LilyPad officially provides an one-stop package for LilyPad, which includes most of the modules provided by LilyPad, as shown in figure 1.19.
