What is HTTPS?

HTTPS, refers to Hypertext transfer Security Protocol (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure), is a transmission encryption security protocol based on HTTP protocol, which can effectively ensure the security of data transmission. When configuring HTTPS, you need to provide the certificate corresponding to the domain name and deploy it in the CDN node of the whole network to realize the encrypted data transmission function of the whole network.

Does CDN support HTTPS configuration?

HTTPS configuration is fully supported by Maoyun CDN. You can upload your own certificate for deployment.

How do I configure a HTTPS certificate?

You can configure HTTPS certificates in the CDN console.

The HTTPS certificate of the origin server has been updated. Do I need to update it synchronously on CDN?

It depends on your origin-pull method: HTTP origin-pull: no need. HTTPS origin-pull: the origin server updates the certificate, and the Maoyun CDN node also needs to be updated synchronously. Client-to-node and node-to-origin certificates need to be consistent, otherwise it will cause origin-pull failure.

Is there any way for CDN to allow users to control that only HTTPS access is allowed and HTTP access is prohibited?

Use the mandatory HTTPS feature. After the certificate is configured successfully, the * * Force Redirect * * switch will appear. When enabled, even if the user initiates a HTTP request, the switch will be forced to switch to HTTPS for access.
