The hardware requirements for deploying hyper-V are as follows:

A 64-bit processor is required, especially one with Intel Virtualization Technology (Intel VT) or AMD Virtualization (AMD-V) technology. Hardware enforcement data execution protection (DEP) must also be available and enabled, i.e. the Intel XD bit (execution disabled bit) or AMD NX (no execution bit) must be enabled.

Microsoft's desktop virtualization environment is as follows:

What to prepare before service implementation:

1. DNS, DHCP, and domain environment support are required (these three services can be deployed on the same server). DHCP is used to assign IP addresses to virtual machines.

2. DNS servers need to be configured with DNS addresses, and DNS servers need ip addresses pointing to domain controllers. RD servers also need to join the domain environment and become domain members.

Related services in the previous blog post has a detailed deployment process, if there are problems can check or Baidu, here will not write, I use the server here are Windows server 2016 version.

When the environment is set up, start deploying hyper-v:

Install Remote Desktop:

1. On RD Server, log in as Domain Administrator, then open the Server Console and click Add Roles and Features:

2. Skip this page by default:

Select Remote Desktop Services Installation and click Next:

4. Select the default "Standard Deployment" here, and then click "Next":

5. Select "Virtual Machine Based Desktop Deployment" here and click "Next":

6. Keep the default and click "Next":

7. Select the current host in the left pane, add the current host to the right pane, and click Next:

8. Ibid.:

9. Ibid.:

10. Check here "Restart when needed..." "and click Deploy:

11. Wait for completion (at the beginning, it is suspended, don't worry, smoke a cigarette, wait patiently, during which it will restart once, and manually enter the password to enter the system. After entering the system, don't care about anything, and then wait):

12. After waiting for the installation to succeed, click "Close":

Second, make Windows 10 virtual machine template:

1. Open Hyper-V Manager:

2. Right-click on the server name and select the Virtual Switch Manager option:

Select External and click Create Virtual Switch:

4. Set the name of the virtual switch and click OK:

5. Click "Yes" in the pop-up warning box:

6. After the virtual switch is created, create the virtual machine as follows:

7. Click "Next" to skip the default page:

8. Define the name and installation location of the virtual machine here, and then click Next:

9. Keep the default and click "Next":

10. Define the memory of the virtual machine according to actual requirements, and then click "Next":

11. Select the virtual switch you just created here, and click "Next":

12, here according to the actual needs to define the size and name of the disk, storage location and other information:

Select the ISO system image you have prepared and add it, then click Next:

14. After confirmation, click Finish:

15. Now you can see the virtual machine you created. Right-click the virtual machine and click "Start" and "Connect":

16. After opening the console, start installing the operating system of the virtual machine. The virtual machine will be used as a template, so after the installation is completed, you can install the required software and activate the system according to your needs.

When everything is done, press "win+R" to open the Run box, enter "sysprep", open the following folder, and run the following file as administrator:

18. In the pop-up dialog box, select the "Shutdown" option, check the "General" check box, and then click "OK"(note that you must select "Shutdown", otherwise, this step is meaningless):

Wait for the sysprep program to complete, which is to clear some unique information of the Windows installation, such as SID, so that you can reuse the image on different computers:

Third, add RD authorized host:

1. After the virtual machine is shut down, open Server Manager on the RDesktop server, select Remote Desktop Services, and click RD Authorization:

2. Add the servers in the left pane to the right pane here, and then click Next:

3. After confirming that there is no error, click "Add" and wait quietly to complete:

4. After completing the installation, click RD Gateway:

5. As usual, add the server and click "Next":

6. What you need to enter here is the full name of the RD server (that is, the server itself), and then click "Next," as shown below:

7. After confirmation, click "Add". After completion, close the dialog box:

Create a virtual desktop collection:

1. Right-click RD Virtualization Host and select Create Virtual Desktop Collection:

2. Click "Next" to skip the default page:

3. Define the name of the collection and click Next:

4. In "Specify collection type", select "Personal virtual machine collection" if each user's private virtual desktop is used, and then click Next. Otherwise, select "Virtual machine collection pool", which can be defined according to actual needs:

5. Specify the virtual machine template here. Since only one template has been made here, that is, the virtual machine just created, there is only one template here. You can select the corresponding template according to the actual situation, and click Next:

6. Keep the default option "Enable automatic user assignment" and click "Next":

7. Keep the default and click "Next":

8. Set the time zone here and specify which domain (can be subdivided into OU) users can log in to the virtual machine:

9. Set the number of virtual desktops published here (the number is related to the completion speed. The more the number, the slower the deployment) and the prefix of virtual desktops. After setting, click "Next":

10. Specify the allocation quantity here and click Next:

11. Specify the location where the virtual desktop is stored. You need to copy the path manually:

12. After confirmation, click Create:

13. Wait patiently for it to be completed:

14. After the virtual desktop is created, open the virtual desktop collection and you will see the virtual desktop that has been created:

V. Access to virtual desktops:

1. Open the browser on the client and enter 192.168.1.2/RDWeb (this ip is the ip address of RD server). Because CA certification has not been done, the browser certificate is not trusted. Click "Continue browsing this website (not recommended)". The virtual machine login screen opens.

2. Run the add-on as follows:

3. Enter the domain username and password and log in:

4. After logging in successfully, you can see the virtual machine collection. Click it to enter:

5. The following is the same as the remote connection:

6. Enter the domain username again to verify that the connection is successful:
