The problem with the start menu of Windows 10 first surfaced in September, and more users began to report the problem after installing a patch update released in October. Initially, Microsoft marked the issues as "resolved" and said it would monitor user feedback.

In a post on the Microsoft Answers website, Microsoft engineers confirmed that installing the KB4522355 patch would solve problems with the start menu and Microsoft Edge. Although Microsoft has fixed Edge browser errors, it seems that some users on Windows 10 1903 are still experiencing problems with the start menu.

Users reported that the start menu of Windows 10 crashed or failed to start after installing the KB4522355 patch.

Like all other Windows 10 updates, KB4522355 fails to install and displays a common error message (0x800F081F) to some users.

The user said that the patch installation failed and the following error message was displayed:

Windows cannot install the following update with error 0x800F081F: 2019-10 Windows 10 version 1903 cumulative update based on x64 system (KB4522355).

For some people, the KB4522355 patch may be a nightmare, but for most people, it's going well.

Bluetooth problem resolved

In an update to its supporting documentation, Microsoft confirmed that the latest cumulative version of Windows 10 should resolve errors that affect the performance of Bluetooth adapters developed by Qualcomm.

This change also means that Windows 10 version 1903 can be installed on more configurations.

According to the Windows dashboard, most issues have been resolved in Windows 10 version 1903.

After Microsoft deploys the November version of 2019 Windows 10, users who are still experiencing problems should see improvements. Windows 10 19H2 (version 1909) is hailed as one of the most stable updates and is expected to be released to consumer users on November 12.
