Under centos5, executing cdrecord-scanbus will report an error

The following command is required instead:

Cdrecord dev=ATA-scanbus, you can correctly output the device list and identity

It can be seen that the optical drive is a label like ATA:1,0,0.

b. / dev/cdwriter-hdc is automatically recognized by centos5 on the burning device name

If you don't recognize it, you can change it to dev=ATA:1,0,0.

c. Generally, there is no need to add-- speed, because cdrecord will automatically detect the optimal recording speed.

d. Online tutorials have no burning protection against cache light.

That is, Sanyo BURN-Proof, Ricoh Just-Link, Yamaha Lossless-Link and other technologies

You can actually add the corresponding parameter driveropts=burnfree

E. the cdrecord program that comes with CentOS5 is a specially modified version that can burn CD and various DVD media

So you don't have to find other DVD burning software.

You can mispoint the iso file with the following command:

Mkisofs-r-o sample.iso my_private is made into an iso file,-r means to make all file attributes readable to everyone, and-o represents output.
