(3) set environment variables and directories.

Edit the. bash_profile file for the root user:

PATH=$PATH:$HOME/bin

Export ORACLE_HOME=/usr/lib/oracle/19.3/client64/

Export ORACLE_BASE=/usr/lib/oracle/19.3/

Export TNS_ADMIN=$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin

Export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

PATH=$PATH:$HOME/bin:$ORACLE_HOME/bin

Export PATH

Take effect as soon as the compilation is complete:

Source .bash _ profile

Create a directory that does not exist:

Mkdir-p $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin

(4) add tns service name

Vim $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/tnsnames.ora
