This article is about how oracle modifies or deletes temporary tables. The editor thinks it is very practical, so share it with you as a reference and follow the editor to have a look.

In the generation environment, temporary tables need to be processed because of the needs of the business. If the temporary table is in use and is occupied, the operation will report an error. To solve this problem, the solutions are as follows:

(1)-find sessions that are still using temporary tables

SELECT

Sid

, serial#

FROM v$session

WHERE sid = (

SELECT

Sid

FROM v$lock

WHERE id1 = (

SELECT

Object_id

FROM user_objects

WHERE object_name = upper ('your temporary table name')

)

)

(2)-use the sid and serial#, found above to kill the session

ALTER system kill session 'sid,serial#'

You will not make a mistake if you modify your temporary table or drop after the kill operation. Note: sometimes the same temporary table is used in multiple places. You need to change the sid= in (1) to sid in, id1 = to id1 in, and kill all the sid and serial# found.
