In fact, I want to update the latest CU patch after updating the public network, but due to the recent limited conditions, the public network IP address originally used for testing has not been able to be updated due to operator reasons, so I have to update this article first.

First of all, we need to extend the domain schema (or let the installer extend it itself), as shown in the figure:

Extend the Active Directory architecture:

Setup.exe / PrepareSchema / IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms

Prepare Active Directory:

Setup.exe / PrepareAD / IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms

Prepare the Active Directory domain:

Setup.exe / PrepareAllDomains / IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms

Install the latest CU patch to open the latest CU installation media, and double-click "Setup.exe" in the installer

Choose whether to check for updates on the Internet according to the actual needs.

Automatically copying installation files

The system automatically detects that the operation is an upgrade operation, and click "next" directly.

Accept the license agreement and click "next"

Prerequisite check completed (I did not do the public network release, I did not do the * send connector, so there will be a warning)

Installing

Upgrade completed

Log in to ECP or use the command to check whether the Exchange version has been updated

Other servers follow the above steps for upgrade and installation.

PS: other servers no longer need to do schema extension (above 3 commands)
