Google inadvertently displayed a new smart display NestHub Max--, on its home page connected to the Google store, which appears to be an upgraded version of the home hub.

The vulnerability was first discovered by Android police, who found a description of a device called NestHubMax in a smart home map on the Google Store page. When you click Master Hub in each tab, information about NestHubMax pops up.

According to reports, the NestHubMax will have a 10-inch HD screen, stereo speakers and built-in NestCam, which will make surveillance and video calls possible. By contrast, home hubs have only a 7-inch screen and, surprisingly, no cameras, so Duo calls are limited to audio.

The Google Assistant power Home Hub, launched at the end of last year, sells for $149and uses a simple smart display. The home hub is more than 4.5 inches and takes up little space, but provides simple intelligent home control. However, due to the small screen and media consumption, the sound quality produced by its speakers is very poor.

Google Store currently sells home hubs for $129, and that price is likely to fall further as the NestHubMax release approaches. Amazon's Echo Show, with a 10-inch screen and video call camera, costs $230. At the same time, Lenovo also offers a smart display with a 10-inch screen and a Google assistant for $249. NestHubMax of similar specifications is expected to be sold at a similar price.

The NestHub Max will clearly be based on HomeHub's features, although it is unclear when Google will officially announce a new smart display. It is likely to appear at Google's Icano developer conference from May 7 to May 9 at the Seaside Amphitheater in Mountain View, California.

Although other details of the NestHubMax, including its price tag, are still unknown, the new smart display appears to be an improvement over the Home Center product.
