Only suppliers supplying bulk materials must submit PPAP documents for all bulk materials using Level 1 as default level unless otherwise specified by Customer Responsible Product Approval.

It is up to the customer to determine the submission level to be used for each supplier or supplier and customer part number combination. For the same supplier manufacturing site, different customer sites may specify different submission levels.

Prior to initial submission, the acceptability of these copies must be confirmed by the department responsible for production part approval.
