LR uses agents to record script introductions

When recording browser requests using lr, it is common that the browser cannot be opened. Using the proxy that comes with lr can effectively solve this problem, and the supported browsers are no longer limited to IE, Firefox, or even record requests from mobile browsers.

The agent needs to use the wplus_init_wsock.exe under the loadrunner installation directory and bin directory, as shown below:

1. Open the Virtual User Generator of loadrunner and select Web (HTTP/HTML) protocol.

2. In the script editing interface, click the recording Settings button

Click New Entry in the Recording Options-Network-PortMapping interface, and fill in the agent information as shown

Note: the address and port of the server are filled in according to the actual project; the proxy port number is customized. This information is needed when the browser opens the proxy.

3. Open the agent in the browser (take chrome as an example)

4. Click the recording button in LR to record. The recording interface is set as follows. Click the OK button (automatically opens the wplus_init_wsock.exe file).

5. Open http://192.168.163.128/bbs/forum.php (sample project) in a chrome browser, and the operation will be recorded by loadrunner.

6. If you want to record the request sent by the mobile browser, set the phone to development mode, open the phone's proxy (replace the steps to open the browser proxy), and other operations are the same.

Note:

1. Remove the agent from the phone or browser after using it.

2. If you want the script recorded by the playback agent to be played back with other browsers or mobile phones, you need to add header information to the script, such as the following:

Add web_add_header ("User-Agent", "Mozilla*Firefox/17.0") to the script

You can also modify the default browser information in the run settings
