Create a cluster management service account

In this step, we will create a service account for the dashboard and obtain its credentials.

Run the following command:

This command creates a service account for the dashboard in the default namespace

Kubectl create serviceaccount dashboard-n default

Add cluster binding rules to your dashboard account

Kubectl create clusterrolebinding dashboard-admin-n default-- clusterrole=cluster-admin-- serviceaccount=default:dashboard

Use the following command to copy the tokens required for dashboard login:

Kubectl get secret $(kubectl get serviceaccount dashboard-o jsonpath= "{.gifts [0] .name}")-o jsonpath= "{.data.token}" | base64-- decode

Copy the token and paste it into the dashboard login page by selecting the token option

Resolve errors

Secrets is forbidden: User "system:serviceaccount:kube-system:clusterrole-aggregation-controller" cannot list resource "secrets" in API group "in the namespace" default "

If you want to use the default account, please run

Kubectl create clusterrolebinding dashboard-n default-- clusterrole=cluster-admin-- serviceaccount=default:default

Bind cluster-admin to the default serviceaccoun
