The Vivo V17 will be available on December 9, and now 91mobiles already knows the smartphone's design and specs. As we previously reported, the Vivo V17 will feature a perforated display, which the company confirmed through its official press conference invitation. A Vivo official, speaking on condition of anonymity, provided official specifications and pictures of the Vivo V17. This image gives us a good idea of the Vivo V17's design, showing the nearly borderless perforated display (the company calls it the iView display) and the L-shaped quad rear camera setup. We also know some of the key specifications of the Vivo V17, including Snapdragon 675 SoC, 48MP four-camera system, 4,500mAh battery and E3 OLED display.

Vivo V17 Specifications

Based on the official images of the Vivo V17 provided to us, we can see that the version looks different from the one released earlier this week in Russia. For beginners, there will be a small cutout in the upper right corner of the display instead of a water drop. Second, the L-shaped quad camera on the back is mounted in a square module instead of the diamond module seen in the international version.

Vivo V17 will launch in Glacier Ice and Midnight Ocean colors. It will feature a 6.44-inch full HD OLED iView display with a screen to volume ratio of 91.38. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC, have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and support storage scalability via a microSD card. The Vivo V17 will also feature a fingerprint sensor.

As for camera specs, the Vivo V17 will feature a 48MP f/1.8 primary sensor, an 8MP f/2.2 secondary camera and two 2MP sensors. Officials did not disclose the front-facing camera sensor, but it is expected to be a 32MP snapshot. The Vivo V17 will hold a 4,500 mAh battery and support 18W fast charging via a Type-C port.

It's unclear why Vivo changed the design of the Vivo V17 based on the market, but it could be an attempt to make the phone look more stylish and stand out from the competition. At present, the price of Vivo V17 is unknown, but according to the disclosed specifications, it is expected to drop to below Rs 20,000. We'll learn more about Vivo V17, which launches on December 9.
