First, install JDK

1. Installation

The current maximum version of JDK is 1.7. 2) add Path path

CLASSPATH:.%JAVA_HOME%\ lib;%JRE_HOME%\ lib; (Note: the first dot indicates the current directory and cannot be omitted; nor can the last semicolon be omitted)

(the JAVA_HOME in the configuration should be the same as the one newly created above. The purpose of setting this variable is that the system will start every time, instead of manual maintenance.)

Open cmd and enter the command: java-version

Second, install Tomcat

1. Installation

Download the Tomcat server apache-tomcat-7.0.42-windows-x86.zip and extract it to the root directory of C disk: C:\ apache-tomcat-7.0.42 (the path is arbitrary, if the English name is).

2. Configure environment variables

1) create a new system variable:

CATALINA_HOME:C:\ apache-tomcat-7.0.42

2) add Path path

CLASSPATH:.%JAVA_HOME%\ lib;%JRE_HOME%\ lib;%CATALINA_HOME%\ lib

3) Test Tomcat

Run CMD, enter the directory C:\ apache-tomcat-7.0.42\ bin, and run startup:
