# cp contrib/dist/rpm/proftpd.init.d / etc/rc.d/init.d/proftpd # vi / etc/rc.d/init.d/proftpd

PATH= "$PATH:/myserver/proftp/sbin:/etc/proftpd/bin" (installation directory: / myserver/proftp)

# chmod + x / etc/rc.d/init.d/proftpd # chkconfig-- add proftpd # service proftpd start

5. Log in as an anonymous user

The login path for anonymous users (anonymous or ftp) is / var/ftp, if not, it needs to be established.

Then, you can access it through ftp://ip!

6. Create users that can be uploaded and downloaded (tangling is used for this article)

# useradd tangling-d / var/ftp-g ftp # passwd tangling
