1. Download image, download address

two。 Start archlinux and select Boot Arch Linux, and then enter the character installation interface

3. Connect to the network and install the basic system:

1)。 Network and test:

Root@archiso ~ # dhcpcdroot@archiso ~ # ping archlinux.org-c 4

2)。 Update system time:

Root@archiso ~ # timedatectl set-ntp true

3)。 Partition and format the disk:

Root@archiso ~ # fdisk-lroot@archiso ~ # fdisk / dev/sda

Use fdisk to partition the hard disk, because you are only playing by yourself, there are only three partitions here, the first is the boot boot partition (200m), the second is the swap swap partition (2G), and the third is the system disk (remaining space). Format the partition after it has been created.

Root@archiso # mkfs.ext4 / dev/sda1root@archiso # mkfs.ext4 / dev/sda3root@archiso # mkswap / dev/sda2root@archiso # swapon / dev/sda2

4)。 Mount the partition:

Root@archiso ~ # mount / dev/sda3 / mntroot@archiso ~ # mkdir / mnt/bootroot@archiso ~ # mount / dev/sda1 / mnt/boot

5)。 Modify the software source and update:

Root@archiso ~ # vi / etc/pacman.d/mirrorlistroot@archiso ~ # pacman-Sy

Putting the source of China at the front of the document, I personally think that the source of ustc and 163is better.

6)。 Install the system to disk:

Root@archiso ~ # pacstrap / mnt base base-devel

4. Configure the basic system

1)。 Write the partition table to the system configuration file:

Root@archiso ~ # genfstab-U / mnt > > / mnt/etc/fstab

2)。 Enter the disk system:

Root@archiso ~ # arch-chroot / mnt

3)。 Set the time zone:

[root@archiso /] # ln-sf / usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Shanghai / etc/localtime [root@archiso /] # hwclock-systohc-utc

4)。 Set the language:

[root@archiso /] # vi / etc/locale.gen [root@archiso /] # locale-gen

Remove the comments in the language format you need. The default is all comments.

5)。 Configure the hostname and the network:

[root@archiso /] # echo Arch > / etc/hostname [root@archiso /] # ip a [root@archiso /] # cp / etc/netctl/examples/ethernet-dhcp / etc/netctl/network [root@archiso /] # vi / etc/netctl/network [root@archiso /] # netctl enable network

Change the interface=eth0 in / etc/netctl/network to interface=enp0s3 and save it.

6)。 Set the root password and add a normal user:

[root@archiso /] # passwd [root@archiso /] # useradd-m newuser [root@archiso /] # passwd newuser

5. Install the bootstrapper:

[root@archiso /] # pacman-S grub [root@archiso /] # grub-install-- targer=i386-pc-- recheck / dev/sda [root@archiso /] # grub-mkconfig-o / boot/grub/grub.cfg

6. Complete the installation:

[root@archiso /] # exit [root@archiso /] # umount-R / mnt [root@archiso /] # poweroff

Remove the iso image and restart archlinux.

7. Install the desktop environment:

1)。 Install the video card driver:

[root@Arch] # pacman-S virtualbox-guest-utils

2)。 Install xorg:

[root@Arch] # pacman-S xorg-server

3)。 Install the desktop environment:

[root@Arch ~] # pacman-S xfce4 xfce4-goodies [root@Arch ~] # pacman-S lxdm [root@Arch ~] # systemctl enable lxdm.service

At this point, the basic configuration of the archlinux graphical interface has been installed. The end result is shown in the figure (I prefer to use xfce:Old habbits...they die hard):
