II. CPU and kernel requirements
Today's CPU products, whether AMD or Intle, indicate support for virtualization products as long as they are marked with AMD-V or Intel VT. In the operating system, the Hyper-V requirement is 64-bit, and the 32-bit is abandoned because running more than a dozen virtual machines on a server that only supports 4G memory shows that it is running out of steam and doesn't make much sense.
Summary: hardware requirements for running Hyper-V:
1. Server 2008 Enterprise or Datacenter version

4. Multiple hard disk partitions
5. At least 2 network cards, one for virtual machine sharing and one for real physical machine use
Third, the application of Hyper-V
1. Create a new partition to store the virtual machine, and form a VHD device after volume naming, system file definition, and formatting. As shown in figure 1.
2, add the role of Hyper-V in the server manager, in the add role wizard, check the "Hyper-V" item to make sure that the network card used by the virtual machine is used for future communication. As shown in figure 2. After a short period of processing, Hyper-V was successfully installed.
3. Next, you can create a virtual machine. HYPERV appears in "Server Manager-> role-> Hyper-V- > Hyper-V Manager". There are no virtual machines yet. Create a virtual machine through the new one in the right column, as shown in figure 3.
4. Execute the virtual machine creation wizard, define the server type for it (for example, as a WDS server), and specify the previously created target partition, as shown in figure 4. Click next to allocate memory to it. The default is 512m, and the recommended range is 8M-4G. Click next to determine whether to use the virtual network card and the associated virtual partition, that is, the target partition we created earlier.
5, determine which way to install the operating system on the virtual machine: later, through the CD/DVD-ROM or iso image file, boot floppy disk, network installation server, etc. As shown in figure 5, after determining the installation of Windows server 2008 with the CD, the remaining thing is how to configure the WDS server.
