In a market that is losing money to gain more market share, telecom operators are now looking for long-term plans to boost revenue. Airtel and Vodafone have been working on these long-term plans. After Jio jumps in, offering more battles at lower prices will only intensify. To stay ahead, Vodafone has now come up with an updated annual plan to increase revenue through a certain amount of profit.

The new annual plan still costs 1699 rupees, the same as before. However, operators have modified the benefits associated with the plan. Initially, Vodafone offered standard unlimited calls to any number throughout the 365-day period. In addition, the program provides users with 100 free text messages a day.

However, the revision mainly comes from the advantages of the data. Previously, the plan allocated only 1GB data every day under the plan. After the revision, users can now get 1.4GB data every day. This means that users will get 547.5GB data throughout the year. The rest of the benefits remain unchanged.

In addition to general benefits, Vodafone also offers free subscriptions to its Vodafone Play service, offering live TV channels, movies, TV shows and so on.

For Vodafone users who need unlimited calls and enough data to spend a busy day, this plan seems to be enough. Compared with the long-term plans of other operators, the cost is the same, but in terms of benefits, it is comparable to that provided by Jio. This is the first time mentioned in the telecom dialogue.

If you compare the long-term plans of different operators at the same price, these plans are not much different. Jio and Airtel's plan also has 1699 rupees. But Jio provides 1.5GB data every day, while Airtel only provides 1.4GB data every day. They also subscribed to their content streaming platform for free via live television. Unlike its competitors, however, Jio also offers free video calls. Airtel, on the other hand, is one step ahead in providing additional subscriptions to third-party services.
