Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--
This article is about how to bind and unbind SSH key pairs on the ECS management console. The editor thought it was very practical, so I shared it with you as a reference. Let's follow the editor and have a look.
Bind and unbind SSH key pair
Use restriction
Only one SSH key pair can be bound to an ECS instance.
All Linux instances of the instance specification family support SSH key pair login except for non-Ishock O optimized instances of series I.
If the ECS instance is running (Running), you need to restart the instance for the operation to take effect after binding or unbinding the SSH key pair.
If the ECS instance has been bound with a SSH key pair, the new key will automatically replace the original key when the new key pair is bound.
If the ECS instance uses password authentication, the password authentication method becomes invalid automatically after the key pair is bound.
After unbinding the key pair, you need to reset the instance password to log in to the ECS instance using password authentication.
Bind key pair
Follow these steps to bind the key pair.
Log in to the ECS Management console.
In the left navigation bar, select Network and Security > key pair.
Select a region.
Locate the key pair that you want to operate, and in the Action column, click bind key pair.
In the bind key pair dialog box, in the Select ECS instance bar, select the name of the ECS instance to which you want to bind the key pair, click >, and move to the selected column.
Description
If the ECS instance name in the ECS instance bar is grayed out, it indicates that the instance is a Windows instance or a non-Imax O optimized instance of Series I, which does not support SSH key pairs.
Click OK to bind the key pair.
Unbind key pair
Follow these steps to unbind the key pair.
Log into the ECS console.
In the left navigation bar, select Network and Security > key pair.
Select a region.
Locate the key pair that you want to operate, and in the Action column, click unbind the key pair.
In the unbind key pair dialog box, in the Select ECS instance bar, select the name of the ECS instance to be unbound, click >, and move to the selected column.
Click OK to unbind the key pair.
Thank you for reading! This is the end of the method of binding and unbinding SSH key pairs on the ECS management console. I hope the above content can be helpful to you, so that you can learn more knowledge. If you think the article is good, you can share it and let more people see it.
