A branch circuit is also called a subcircuit (subcircuit).
Because the menu has been called branch circuit, the following are called branch circuit.

Create a branch circuit
Here is a concrete example to illustrate how to create a branch circuit.
Circuit prototype
The following is a circuit made up of four non-gates with the following functions:
If the input is the same and the ratio is 0 or 1, the output is 0
If the input is different, such as 0, 1 or 1, 0, the output is 1. 0.
Obviously, if you understand digital circuits, this is actually called an XOR gate.
After confirming that its function meets our requirements, delete the logical input and output of those tests, leaving only the final circuit.
Add tag nod
The next step is to identify all inputs / outputs, which is achieved through the tagged node function, under "menu-draw-output and label-tagged nodes":

The default names of all tagged nodes are label. By double-clicking these nodes, in the pop-up attribute adjustment window, change one by one to the desired name (as short as possible):

Mark internal nodes
If you want to use tagged nodes in the branch circuit definition, but do not want them to be one of the inputs / outputs, check the Internal Node check box in the edit menu of those labeled nodes.
Note: if the circuit has extra unmarked endpoints, there may be an exception when creating a branch circuit.
So, even if you don't need to provide external endpoints, you may still need to identify them through internal nodes.
In the above example, no internal nodes are used.
Set branch circuit pin, height, width, name
Then, select menu-File-create Branch Circuit, and the following window pops up:
You can rearrange the pins by dragging the nodes:
Note: when dragging, if you find that the drag does not move or has no effect, the mouse cursor can be moved to a point outside the model box line.
The pins can be left and right or facing up and down.
If there is not enough room to adjust, you can increase the height and width by clicking the + sign next to the width and height:
Finally, when the adjustment is complete, you can reduce the unnecessary height and width by clicking the-sign next to the width and height.
Of course, you can not reduce the final size of the model box, but it is better to keep it compact properly, and you don't have to take up so much space to use it later.
When the pin position and width and height adjustments are complete, enter the model name in the model name, and then click OK.
This will load the subcircuit model.
Note: please remember to save the branch circuit implementation, otherwise it will not be edited (modified) later.
Use branch circuit
You can now create a circuit using a branch circuit model. Right-click and select active Integrated Circuits-add Branch Circuit instance.
Or through the menu-draw-active integrated circuit-add branch circuit example.
Then click and drag to create an instance.
Note: continuous dragging can create multiple instances, if you no longer need to create, press the shortcut key Esc to exit the added state.
If you create multiple branch circuit models, you can edit the instance and then select the desired model in the model name drop-down window of the pop-up window.
By default, it uses the model you just created.
When you save / load the circuit, it also saves / loads the branch circuit model, so you can use it in other circuits.
In addition, after creating the instance, you can edit the model again. By "right-click-Edit-Edit Model" on the model instance:
After that, the window that pops up again when you create the branch circuit, you can adjust the pin position again, the height and width of the model.
Note: if multiple model instances are created, this adjustment will affect all the instances that have been created!
Repackage the existing module to change the pin position
Sometimes, some modules are packaged in app, but their pin placement may not be what you want, so you can also use a branch circuit to rearrange the pins on the built-in chip.
Select part of the circuit to create a branch circuit
By default, creating a branch circuit uses all circuits on the current canvas.
If a part of the circuit is selected before using File-create Branch Circuit, only the selected element will be considered part of the branch circuit.
Use of multiple branch circuits in multiple windows
Although multiple branch circuits can be created in one window (canvas), by default, instances are created last by default. In the case of multiple models, you need to edit the model name again to adjust to other previously added instances of the model.
For clarity, you can open multiple browser windows, create different branch circuits in different windows, and then drag to generate the corresponding instance.
Finally, these instances support copying (pasting) across windows, so you can also integrate multiple branch circuit instances in this way.
