Production process

The first step is to prepare the data and construct the auxiliary column. The original data used in this paper is shown below, and the data are all fictional. The conversion rate of the previous step is equal to the percentage of the number of people in the current step divided by the number of people in the previous step, and the overall conversion rate is equal to the number of people in the current step divided by 3000.

The second step is to make a funnel chart, select the first three columns of the data, and insert the stacked bar chart.

The third step is to click on the ordinate axis of the chart, set the coordinate axis format, and check the reverse category.

Step 4, right-click the chart, select the data, select the secondary column, click the inverted triangle in the upper right corner, and move the auxiliary column to the first row.

Step 5, click the bar chart of the auxiliary column (orange section), and right-click to select no fill, no outline.

Step 6, click the chart, click menu bar > Design > add Chart elements > Lines > Series Lines to connect each bar chart with lines.

Step 7, click Chart > Click + > add data label, format the data label, cancel the value, click the value in the cell, select the overall conversion rate, the label position is centered, and initially complete the chart design.

Step 8, insert a special shape, click insert > shape > Down thick arrow, then insert the text box, enter the previous step conversion rate, and then combine the arrow and the text box to the appropriate position on the ordinate axis of the chart, the rest is similar.

Step 9, delete Abscissa, auxiliary column legend, grid line, outer border, set ordinate without rimline, add basic description of data, chart is completed.
