Objective: to issue scheduled tasks through group policy to enable the client to restart regularly every day.

Restart script content:

The first sentence is: restart the system in a minute

The rest is to record the execution time of the script on disk C:\ Scripts.log.

1. Open the Group Policy Manager on 2008 server and create an organizational unit named "test" on the established domain leo.com.

2. Create a new group policy "reboot" above "test"

3. Select the newly created "reboot" group policy, right-click "Edit", and then open "preferences", "Control Panel Settings" and "scheduled tasks" to start setting scheduled tasks.

Add the computer to be tested to the test group in the AD user computer

Enter gpupdate / force in the manual update policy cmd in leo-pc

Check to see if the policy takes effect.
