General principles for virtual memory settings: virtual memory minimum is 1 to 1.5 times physical memory; virtual memory maximum is 2 to 2.5 times physical memory.

Step 1: Right click properties of my computer

Step 5: You can see the virtual memory at the bottom, we click on the "Change" button

Step 7: Virtual memory is generally set on the hard disk other than C disk. Select the hard disk with larger remaining space. Then I chose E disk and click the custom size below.

Step 8: Enter the minimum and maximum values and click the Settings button in the lower right corner.

Step 9: A restart prompt will pop up. Click OK.

Step 10: We need to make sure to restart the computer, if there are other programs running can click "No".

The next time we restart the computer, we can follow the steps above to see that the virtual memory has been set up successfully.

Virtual memory settings are only for users with low memory, and users with physical memory above one G do not need to set them.

Step 1: Click on the original virtual memory drive, then click "No paging file" below, and then click "Settings" on the right, so as to cancel the original settings.

Step 2: Select the "Drive" to be set, click "System Management Size" below; Apply, and determine all the way out.
