During the installation of the database software, the primary instance restarted abnormally and reinstalled the database software, but an error was encountered. The error is as follows:

[INS-32025] The chosen installation conflicts with software already installed in the given oracle home.

The method of treatment is as follows:

1. Modify the inventory file

[root@rac01 ContentsXML] # less inventory.xml

12.2.0.1.4

2.1.0.6.0

Delete this line and save exit

two。 Restart the installer

[root@rac01 ~] # su-oracle

$ls

Database linuxx64_12201_database.zip

$cd database

$. / runInstaller

Starting Oracle Universal Installer...
