Google has released Fitbit Charge 5, a new fitness tracker with "advanced" health features. The new fitness tracker features a more stylish design and is 10% thinner than the Fitbit Charge 4. Its display screen is also more vivid than its predecessor. Fitbit claims that the monitor is now twice as bright as the Charge 4.

Google and Fitbit focus on health features, including a new health indicator called daily preparation scores and built-in sensors that will track other aspects. Fitbit promises that advanced users will experience additional benefits with the new fitness tracker. In addition, the company has bundled a six-month Fitbit Premium membership so that users can enjoy free benefits for a period of time.

One of the features included in Premium membership is the Daily Readiness experience, which tells you whether you should exercise at high intensity or focus on recovery on a specific date. Fitbit claims that every morning, users receive a score based on their fitness fatigue (activity), heart rate variability (HRV) and recent sleep. Users will also get an analysis that affects their scores, and then recommend some suggestions.

The Fitbit Charge 5 fitness tracker already includes 20 exercise modes, but with Premium, you can access more than 200workouts from certified coaches and popular brands such as Daily Burn, barre3 and Les MILLS's new high-energy workouts.

Fitbit touted the Charge 5 as the first fitness tracker with an EDA sensor that measures your body's response to stress through tiny changes in the sweat glands of your fingers. In addition, stress management scores assess whether you are psychologically ready for more challenges, or whether you need to recharge. With Premium, users can access more than 300 meditation and mindfulness courses offered by brands and experts to help them manage stress.

Fitbit Charge 5 is made of aluminum, glass and resin. It has stainless steel rails on the side and is equipped with silicone tape. Fitbit touted the Charge 5's aerodynamic design, optimized for performance, and "designed for seamless fit". The rails on both sides serve as sensors for both ECG applications and EDA sensors. It features a 1.04in color AMOLED touch screen display with a peak brightness of 450N, always on mode and no buttons.

Fitbit Charge 5 includes a built-in GPS+GLONASS, SpO2 sensor, skin temperature sensor, optical heart rate monitor and NFC. The fitness tracker also allows you to make contactless payments. It also allows you to receive and send notifications from / to your smartphone.

The price of Fitbit Charge 5 is $179.99, including a six-month premium membership (for new and existing customers). You can order Charge 5 online at Fitbit.com and some global retailers, which will be available worldwide this fall.
