For example, a fragment of 10,000 files is stored on a failed node, and it takes an average of 0.5 seconds to reconstruct a fragment (mainly network transfer time). 100 nodes are selected to participate in the reconstruction, and only 100 fragments need to be rebuilt for each node. An average of 50 seconds to complete the reconstruction. As long as no other 30 nodes of the same file fail at the same time within 50 seconds, the file data will not be lost.

5. Due to good redundancy and geographically dispersed locations, there is no need to worry about data invalidation due to hard disk damage, operation and maintenance errors of individual nodes (it is exposed that Tencent Cloud lost user data due to operation and maintenance errors in August 2018), lightning weather (Microsoft caused Azure service downtime in some areas for more than 20 hours due to lightning strikes in September 2018), power outages, fiber optic disconnection, earthquake and fire, and so on.

6. Because the nodes are scattered and have good redundancy, they are not afraid of DDOS***.
