1. First of all, it is found that there is an extra / dev/ Vxdf disk. Check that this disk is the 1T disk you are going to add.

2. Fdisk-l / View disk partitions

3. Fdisk / dev/vxdf to / dev/vxdf partition, m to see help, n to create a new partition (p is the primary partition, e is the extended partition, there can be no more than 4 primary partitions on a disk), and finally w save.

4. Mkfs.ext3 / dev/vxdb1 is formatted into ext3, in which the file format is preferably the same as that of the previous datanode directory.

5 、 mkdir / dfs

Mount / dev/vxdb1 / dfs mount the partition to the specified mount point

6. Modify / dev/fstab to complete automatic mount

7. Add the mount point / dfs to the DataNode root directory in the cluster hdfs configuration, and then save and restart the cluster.
